Some friends of ours have stopped at the Alvor Park and said it was lovely ,on the photos they showed us you could see the sea from their room

We have stay at the Pestana Delfim and Dom Joao and would recommend both hotels. The Dom Joao is directly on the beach and has been recently refurbished. The Delfim is a short walk to the beach (couple of minutes through gardens, no roads to cross). In our opinion both hotels have excellent seaview rooms. The Delfim rooms are larger than the Dom Joao but the Dom Joao is a smaller hotel with a nicer restaurant. The Alvor Park is a lovely hotel and although the rooms have seaviws the hotel is not on the beach and is a good 5 minute walk along roads.
Alvor itself is lovely, hope you enjoy it.
