Hi, Bettona!
As you can see, the same thing happened to me. Since my last post, I have complained to the credit card company, enclosing all my email correspondance with Dilos, including the cancellation confirmation. Yesterday the amount including accumulated interest, was credited my account (from the card company - not Dilos!).
You should probably complain to your credit card company as soon as possible, and if you still have the correspondance with Dilos, enclose that with your written statement. Good luck!

I would like to add a complaint about Dilos Holiday World. I tried to book a hotel in Greece last July and I gave my Visa number to Dilos Holiday World on request. Two days later I received an email saying that the hotel was not available. No other hotel was offered. I presumed this was the end of the matter. Then last December we were horrified to find on our credit card a charge from Dilos Holiday World for 674 euro. We had great difficulty in convincing our credit card company that this transaction was fiction. We wrote to and phoned the credit card company many times on this matter. Even though the amount was eventually credited back to us, we were told that we could be held responsible for this amount at any time. We consider the behaviour of Dilos -- and the credit card company -- appalling and we would add our voices to the many warnings about the practices of Dilos Holiday World -- avoid!

This is standard practice. Not everyone is as honest as you. A reversal such as this is always conditional.
