Hi

We went on the jeep safari in May last year when we stayed in Olu, my son was 6 1/2 and he had a great time, in fact, he probably enjoyed it far more than I did lol A lot of the trip was on road, and the only time it did get really bumpy is when we went down off track to the river and the mud bath area, I have occasional back problems and it wasn't too bad, and that really was the only time it was really bumpy. The downside was the visit to the carpet shop en route and the stop at the garage at the end where they clean the jeeps, but the one we stopped at did have a pool which you could use etc while being there. Just be prepared to get very wet, and very dirty, and it took an incredibly long shower when we got home to get rid of the dust (although at the time, they were also re-doing the road into Olu, so we were dusty within 5 mins of setting off lol)

Hi

We went on a jeep safari from Bodrum last year. We had a fantastic time and will be going on one again this year when we are in Olu. The only down side was we paid the photographer for a CD which he never delivered. We did try to chase this through the tour operator with no luck.

Hi
We went on the Jeep Safari last May and August from Hisaronu, had two brilliant days out. I think there are about 8 different firms that do it. I think it is safe as long as you go with a reputable company, ie how they maintain there Jeeps. I have also found that the jeeps with the seats facing forward to be more comfortable over bumpy roads. Just be prepared to get very wet, especially when the local kids are off school, which they will be when you go, as they line the roads armed with buckets, hoses and bottles of water! :D

Dont forget to take money with you to hire the water guns.

We went on a jeep safari last year,we brought a couple of water guns from the shops around marmaris, werent too expensive, and loaded ourselves up with a couple of gallons of water, there are plenty of stops to refill the bottles.Take frozen water for yourselves to drink along the way(presuming you have a fridge) and when youve drunk it all you have more water storage bottles. Its a great but messy day out :yikes

10 lira each gun, this is for the really big ones..the ones we seen to buy in resort were much smaller.
