from a week at the bonaire (full review to follow) in cala bona.
Prices - we found the prices for eating out, drinking, ice creams, excertions etc all to be about what we expected ie similar to previous years and didn't notice an increase at all. 2 adults and 2 under 4's ate out every night at various restaurants in and around the harbour and it was between 40 and 75 euro's dependant on the type of meal you wanted for the meal and drinks. In our opinion you make days as inexpensive or as expensive as you like.
Weather - very indifferent, cloudy for the 1st 2 and half days then brighted up to the sun that you expect for July but seemed to stay hotter for longer into the evening, around 7/8ish.
Cala Bona - very nice now that the harbour is fully finished and there are some great places to eat (Janet and Johns, The tapa's restaurant next to Smithy's, Chiri's) and had a more expensive meal at La Santa (I think it was called) which is up past the Bonaire to the roundabout and chuck a right to the beach. More restaurants than bars but there is plenty to do on an evening.
Bonaire - I'll do a full review but in short this is a fantastic hotel, brilliant for the kids and the staff and reps are out of this world, unbelievable energy. Prices are fine, food is great, its clean, the pool is big (but cold ) and there's a five a side pitch for the dads
