yes things like LAcoste and timberland boots and stuff will or are cheaper in mallorca either shop in Palma in the big department store called Carte de Ingles not hard to find - make your way to PLaca De Espania and its not far from there you can see it actually green and white sign - or make a day of ti and go shopping in Festival Park in MAllorca type it into google and it will bring up a few sites with all shopos and activities listed etc

The store you're thinking of is "El Corte Ingles"...literally "The English Cut", but actually "The English Dress Style". It's a large department store of the style of John Lewis. If you Google... el corte ingles palma ...you'll get lots of info.
