The last few years we have stayed in the Riu's Bachata, Merengue, Tequila and Bambu in Dom Rep and Mexico.

We are considering Iberostar Tainos for next year. Is there anyone out there that has visited any of the above as well as the Tainos? If so can you tell me how they compare, with regards to food, animation, size, beach and any other observations.

Are the shows and nightly stuff outside, (I hate inside entertainment) whilst on holiday. Is there a big enough animation team to produce reasonable shows etc.

We are a large group (maybe 40) and would need lots of sunbeds and shade on the beach. How would we fare in this hotel.

My sister has been to the more expensive Iberostar Varadero, but that is out of the financial reach for some our our group who have to pay for teenage kids.

Any insights into what we should expect, would be most appreciated.
