By the time you come over we should be in the 40's the temperature steadily rises through august, remember to pack the sun cream and put loads on you will burn so quickly.

Alot of the weather reports are taken from Las Palmas, the capital on the north east side of the island. It can be anything from 5 to 20 degrees difference. the above Wunderground and Mogan links should give you a better forecast...but trust me its HOT! Had a few cloudy(ish) mornings but its 30 by lunchtime and when the heatwaves hit over the next couple of weeks wee may push 50!

a quick update on the weather........this week has mostly been SUNNY!!
A few cloudy mornings, but generally has been very sunny and very warm..no real heatwaves yet so we may well be due one.

Going to Gran Canaria next June/July (20/6-5/7) and was just wondering what the weather is like at that time of year?
I'm staying in Meloneras, if that makes a difference?
I had friends that went to Puerto Rico in June (5-12) a few years back and they said that it got quite cloudy at times during the day, and when it did it was cold!!!!! I know that Puerto Rico is supposed to be warmer than other resorts aswell!! I wouldnt have thought it should be cold (or even warm) that time of year!! It sounded abit far-fetched to me!
I went to Tenerife for the first 2 weeks of July this year and would have thought the weather would be quite similar??
Any comments welcome,

Well the sky openned up this morning and it has been thunder and lightning with lots of rain

When it rains here it rains hard and fast but the temp doesnt drop so even with the rain this morning it was still hot.
