Just come back from Protaras, Cyprus and went to the Protaras water park.

Weather was fantastic which always helps.
First off, there are 5 adult and kids slides plus 3 kids only slides.

Plenty of lifeguards.

Water in pool was spotless,warm and no clorine chemicals,well not that i was aware of.

Sunbeds all looked quite new and were more comfortable than the ones on the beaches in my opinion.
Place itself was spotless, poolside snack bar, shop and restuarant and shower. A few arcade machines.

Now its not ayia napa so dont be too disappointed; your not paying big money to get in.

3 of the adult slides were great, and for those wanting more action, try the 2 wild corkscrew type slides that lap each other, not for the faint hearted i assure you :-)

We went on sept 6th 2011, and the were only 3 other families there; it was like having the place to yourself.

Cost, normally 17 euro adult, we paid 12 euro each, now you cant complain at that LOL
Would i go again? yes !!

If you want somewhere safe for your kids, then this is it. Water at deepest end, 0.9 m, and shallow is about 0.5 m

My only 2 gripes, another 1 or 2 slides would be perfect, and the steps leading up the towers to top of slides are rusting;its getting on a bit, but even at 17 euros, you'll have a good day out.

I agree with cheekemonkey, we have been to this mini waterpark many times when our children were small and couldnt go on the big slides, ok it's not waterworld but its clean and safe (lifeguards usually out number guests) and it is like having a private waterpark to yourself, you can leave your things on a sunbed and they are safe, the lockers are free, there are no queues and you can watch your children on every slide from the comfort of your sunbed. I can't believe it gets slated so much, i've read it been called a death trap ???? . If you have small children and fancy a cheap day out it's ideal. Also when you leave you used to get a pass for half price the next time you visit and you could use it the following year.
