hi mfcgage
wonderful hotel :D large efes was about 5 lira ,small one 3 and half lira, large coke 5 lira , small coke 3 lira we found the beer was alot cheaper at the hotel than out and about. we stayed there every night apart from two for food as i thought it was quite cheap and very good , didnt have a bad meal yet. full english was 2 pounds , steak 20 - 25 lira included were chips and bread , the waiters were fantastic. i dont drink spirits but think they were not so cheap. every night there was a different cocktail on special for 7 lira with sparklers and other fancy things in it . must have a turkish bath ..amazing and the barbers were just fab as well
hope this helps you a little :tup

Thanks for that nikkinokie, I have a few more questions, for example; silly things like what size are the tea cups in the SC apartments (I like a decent sized mug of coffee on a morning!! LOL and does the catering equipment include egg-cups....go to work on an egg and all that. You know them sort of silly questions that seem a shame cluttering up this thread with. could you PM me the reply if poss? Saves too much rubbish joining this thread. Anyone else with any hints/tips feel free to PM me with your gemz. TIA....

hi mfcgage, there are four egg cups, not that we used them but they were there. The cups were average sized mugs. To be honest everything you could need in the kitchen is there. Rooms are great as is the whole hotel, you will love it.
Any questions just ask as i cant think what else to tell you..

food and drink at hotel is great, but one place we went was also very good; cousins steak house two minutes from club aida accross the crossroads from hotel 1st place you come to on the left. Excellent food, and drinks buy one get one free all night for any drink. lots of free stuff for kids there too, ie pool table, swings etc.

Im thinking about booking Club Aida, Marmaris for next July. Could anyone tell me please if there is much entertainment during the day for my kidz (boys aged 13 and 15), also is the hotel near bars and restaurants. I have heard there is a mini golf on site, could anyone clarify this.

Any info. much appreciated. :cheers

I stayed there in July, had a great time, as did my children ages 10 and 12, if i remember correctly they had a game in the darts game for all ages about 10.30, a game in the pool around 12, the water slides opened at 11.00, killer pool around 14.00 and water polo at 16.00.

There is not a mini golf as we know mini golf to be. Its a kind of large board game where the kids take turns to hit the ball and score depending on what hole it goes in. So yes you can say its mini golf, but not a crazy golf coarse.

Hi all,
We have booked 2 weeks at club Aida for the 22nd June next year. :tup
The reviews look great and we got a great price, could anyone answer a few questions please?
Price of Turkish baths?
Do the hotel hire beach towels?
Is it better to take sterling and exchange locally or traveller cheques?
Are the kids clubs any good? (2 girls 8 and 10)
Any recommended excursions?
Thanks

hi jason t

the turkish bath cost us forty pounds each but this included, a sauna, the turkish bath , face mask then a forty minute oil massage , all were fantastic and worth the money.the pool does not hire towels you just take your own.we took travellers cheques with us for saftey and the hotel does not charge any commission to change them which is great. my daughter did not go to the kids club but other people said it was very good. we are going back in october so i will maybe put her then.hope this helps a bit

Thanks nikkinokie, much appreciated....
Shame about the towels, the last few hotels that we have been to have done this. We usually pay about £5 each for this and its great cause you get a clean towel every day.
