I used my debit card to get money when I was in Australia, there are ATM machines everywhere and it saves carrying a lot of cash with me. I think the first time I went I bought a small amount of dollars over here to use on the first day.

Yes I agree with Judith on this there are ATMs every where in shopping centres, hotels , and petrol stations and banks
You can use eftos and credit cards any where here the only one that a bit limited is America Express bcause of the charges they have to the shops they say is more then the banks

Just do a simple bank transfer online using internet banking. You will need his sort code and account number of course.

It's a Visa debit so will work in Visa or Link ATM's all over the world.
