recommendations for private rental sites please.

Hello,
well already thinking about hols 2009 and think we're going to be brave and book it DIY style.
been looking at tinternet for private rental site but not really sure which are any better than others. saw a few on owners direct.
can anyone please recommend any good ones...either sites or actual apartments.
we've been to Sarigerme and Armutalan (near marmaris) so would like to explore other regions. we are a family of 5, kids will be aged 13, 10 and 8.
also any advice on where best to get flight....and when to try to get them will be greatly appreciated.

I can't help you with the private rental sites - although there are some villas to rent on this forum (I think Maverick has one in Hisaronu).

In terms of flights, I would say book as early as possible.

Also - you may find going to a hotel is cheaper than going to an apartment. Unless you are really keen to self cater.

http://www.lowcostbeds.com is a good site for hotel rooms.

I booked my flights, hotel and transfers all individually this year and saved myself a fortune on a package holiday.

We have use http://www.ownersdirect.co.uk several times and can honestly say never had any problem and had good accomodation.

we booked ours from holiday lettings it was lovely with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms it was in ovacick just outside hissaronu £250 a week on a lovely site.

Another vote for Owners Direct here. My mate's villa in Ovacik is advertised through there although it's possible a bit large for your needs. PM me if you want more info.

wow! thanks for all your prompt replies. i've come across another site with lots of rentals on it. it's called Travel Library. some of the apartments on it look pretty good. has anyone ever used it?
