Flew with them recently - Heathrow-Vienna-Vienna-Varna. Just wanted to let people know that the cabin crew were efficient and smiley such a change from BG Air. Problems at Heathrow (not their fault) meant a queue on the runway for take-off and late arrival at Vienna, only had an hour between flights if we had landed on time so had minutes to get to connecting flight but ground-crew waiting to take us across the tarmac to the Varna flight (same for the Kiev one), slightly scary hurtling through planes in a small van but done with usual Germanic efficiency. Only downside was that luggage was not taken off plane because of this, however, even though Austrian had a plane arriving at 16.35 the next day in Varna they had the common sense to put it on the next plane out of Vienna that was going to Varna and it arrived at 1.30p.m.(unlike BA who would only put missing luggage onto one of their flights which meant it arrived 4 days later) the next day, they were willing to courier it but as I was staying in a small village just outside of Varna they could have spent hours trying to find the house to opted to go to Varna to collect it. Return flights were fine and both outward and inward journeys served piping hot food with fresh rolls and bread. Would certainly use them again. Nels.
