Which resort to avoid the wind??!!

Hi,

Myself and offspring (15,14 & 8 ) are going to Lanzarote w/c 22nd October. I have a choice of 2 resorts to book up, Costa Teguise or Playa Blanca. I have read through the forums and a few persons have mention that it can be quite windy.
I am hoping to enjoy some sunshine and be able to use the pool/beach

... how windy is it likely to be and is it a chilly wind?

Which resort is likely to be less windy?

Any advice appreciated, looking to book over next couple of days!!

Playa Blanca is more sheltered than Costa Teguise. Costa Teguise can be very windy, especially out of season. You should still be able to use the pool, probably the beach, too!

I agree with Lanza fan - PB is the safer bet - very unusual for there not to be at least a strong breeze in CT - we like to call it 'bracing' but sometimes on a winter evening it's best decsribed as 'bl**dy freezing'!
