Would definitely recommend Albuquerque Villas - very clean but not cheap, and probably booked up! It's very popular and a great base in Candolim.

I think Big Daddies has rooms with 2 bedrooms. It's well located. E-mail dearholidays@rediffmail.com Tel:0091832 2489637.

Pretty Petals is excellent but not too sure about two bedrooms. E-mail prettypetalsgoa@sify.com (website prettypetalsgoa.com) Tel:0091832 2489184

Both Candolim. Good luck!! :tup

We stayed at the Albuquerque three times after a recommendation from fellow HTer, Spike. They are truly excellent apartments, immaculately clean, close to everything but in a nice secluded garden.

Trouble is, everyone wants to stay there and they book up one year to the next. Because of that the price just kept going up and up so we moved on. If you're happy with the price, I would recommend the Albuquerque unconditionally.

Hi All! Have booked flights arr Goa 2/12/2008 - 16/12/2008. Anyone got a suggestion for a 'hidden gem' accommodation (b&b) in either Candolim or Cavelossim. Require 2 rooms (3 adults). Look forward to replies. Thankyou.

I think this meets your requirement of "hidden gems."

Presa di Goa.

Don't be put off by the fact that it's outside Calangute/Baga area - they run a shuttle bus to the beach every day.

Good suggestion Max - it's 100% quality ......but not cheap!

Yes, this looks gorgeous but sadly out of our price range at the moment. Maybe one day???? :think

PS It is very interesting to note that there are not many (say - NONE!) suggestions for Cavelossim!! I did look at Mike's Place but think he is over-priced for what he has on offer. 8-)
