Did anyone catch John Gaunt's show from Cyprus on Friday? Only caught some of it but one guy was really complaining that he'd been to Cyprus over 20 times and eventually moved there with his family but had now moved back. He said when he moved there he found the Cypriot people became really unfriendly when he was no longer constantly handing money over as a tourist and basically blanked him. A couple of people did ring in to contradict him but I couldn't listen any longer (always seems to happen when you have a decent call-in on the radio!). I just wondered have other people experienced the same or the exact opposite when they've crossed from holidaymaker to resident?
