Hi everyone,
I've never been in this forum before because we've never been to Fuerteventura and we've also never travelled with a 6 month old baby before. (My eldest was 3 before I went abroad with her).
Firstly, we are hiring a villa and we've booked flights with Thomas Cook so no transfers included. I would have been happy to book a taxi but I've since found out that they don't use car seats!!

I've tried looking into booking a private transfer but they're really expensive and even they don't include a car seat.
Any ideas? Surely this must have come up for other people? Not everyone goes on a package to Fuerteventura do they? How do other DIY bookers get to their destination with a baby?
Also, this is more of a general travel question as apposed to a specific Fuerteventura question, I need to take approx 3 bottles with me to cover the travel time - do they still ask you to drink from the bottles at Gatwick? It will just be water with the baby milk seperate until I'm ready to make it up. Are they ok with this now or do they still get a bit funny about it?
Does anyone know if they sell baby food on planes or in the airport (Boots?) or will I need to take some with me?
That's just the start of my questions! Didn't realise travelling with a baby would be so much hassle
