sacoma fill visa on line and pick a appointment you want. A agency wont do it any sooner than you .By taking it in you should get back within a week but by post if its got to go to Birmingham they seem to be on a go slow .Theres a holiday coming up soon that will delay it.
You can go in without a appointment but you will have a long wait .

hi, i have just completed the three visa applications i needed, wasn't too bad took me 45 minutes. The only problem is... i only have one usb port which had the internet connection so when the receipt came up for online payment i couldn't print as i wouldn't have been able to continue onto the confirmation etc page. I thought i would have the opportunity later to print it but i have looked and cant find a way to get to it. I have printed off all the visa forms and checklists but this is a big problem as i know they like to see proof of payment as their system does not always display it. Anyone know how to get this receipt now? I did try to do a print screen and save it but it wouldn't let me. My only other option is to wait for it too show on my internet banking and print the statement and delete irrelevant info but would prefer not to and have the correct receipt. Please help. thank you in advance

Hi All
Printed forms OK paid on-line, but forgot to print copy of payment, is this going to be a problem if I send visa forms without copy of payment........Barney

Hi Chilly
Thanks for that, it was stupid of me not to have printed the proof of payment off, but the system does'nt give you the ability to go back and retrieve the information. I should have stuck with the old PDF forms and a postal order................Regards..Barney

Sorry if this has been covered in these pages but got to ask.An aquaintence who has been to Goa many, many times and therefore know it inside out was very surprised when I informed him of the new procedure regaarding visas.Disbelieving would be a better word to use.

I pointed him in the direction of this website and the links and trotted off on Holiday.

On my return he has left for goa and left me a message saying how wrong I had got it.He had apparently done his usual and gone to The High Commission in Birmingham and picked his visas up same day.

Anyone know if this is at all possible as it is a procedure I may well use if we go to Goa in March.

Sorry again if it has been covered but not really got the time for all 45 pages.

I am impressed!!!!!
I filled in our online applications on 22nd Oct and sent them to Hayes,Middlesex at 11.30am the same day, postie has just delivered our passports complete with visa's and it is only the 28th.
So only 6 day turnaround and that included a weekend.
Cost was £78.40 (£39.04 each) for visa,s and £10.10 for special delivery envelopes(£5.05 each way)
and I did not put in a copy off the online payment slip,so don't worry if you haven't put one in. Paula

PS. Thanks to smudger2 for his help, much appreciated.
