.. and have a good time yourself. We are back in VC1 for March. We are expecting to see new 'owners' in the Cruise Inn. If the estate agent sites are to believed it has been sold and appears to have been reduced from half of the original asking price.. but what do I know!

Roll on Tuesday and I'm sure I will be reminded that this post has nothing to do with the original question ! but I will make sure we explore all the new supermarkets and post anything we can find that will be of interest.

For several years Las Planeteras was our prime place for every day food items , (of course you go to Harrys for booze !) but Mas a Manos (now Nettos) was our main first shop stop - they delivered to your apartment ! Now we have the Spar just up the road.

A point to mention is that, I'm told, the Christian Sur supermarket is the place where you need to count your change before leaving in case they made 'another' mistake in not giving you enough.

Trebol and Mercadona should be at the top of most peoples places to do the main shop - you may need a couple of words of Spanish at Mercadona to get what you want but its worth it !!

not been for a few years, normaly stay at vc2
i wouldnt be happy though if id paid hundreds of pounds for a week at the arona gran and it was opposite a spar
