Hi Irishcoleen
If you leave it blank you are prompted to fill it in and it won't let you proceed until you do. If you put N/A it rejects it, NA is accepted ! ( I must admit, I worked this out by trial and error, but only stuck at it because if you read the instructions it tells you you don't need ref's or sponsors if you are applying for a tourist VISA)
When you print off the application form at the end this part isn't included anyway.
It's all a bit mad but if you do this, send them off to the appropriate place etc etc it's all quite efficient and speedy.
Much less hassle than going in person IMO.
Don't let it get to you !!!!

Hi everyone, does anybody Know if theres a way to print off the on line application forms without entering your details. The reason I ask is that friends of ours are doing theirs this week, and we were going to go through it with them over the phone (they live in Yorkshire) We have already sorted ours on line, I know you can still download the old visa form but not to sure about the new one...many thanks Keith

My friend went thru to Edinburgh today to collect our visas at the visa centre (they had been lying there ready for over week, but we had no time to go and collect them). I was asking her if she waited long and she said there was no queue at all, she was in only person in the whole place :rofl

Yes that was my experience too, last year at this time it was pandimonium at the HCIs visa office. The new system seems to be much better, but I suspect the numbers applying for visa is way, way, down this year, thats being reflected in the dropping of loads of charter flights. Alan
