Travelled in from Glasgow to Mumbai via Dubai by Emirates... in a word FANTASTIC .... forget charters... this is the real deal... loads of leg room .... great food... choice of 30 movies.... free drinks... on ECONOMY. Jet-Lite to Mumbai cheap and OK.

Shacks are still getting licences but spent time at Dominicks, great food and a lovely bloke.
Ate out at Meridian in Benaulim a couple of times... the best Indian food I have ever had in Goa and cheap.
It does seem quiet, everyone is saying that the English are scared to come because of terrorism... the Goan's are saying they are stupid. Quiet.... I love it!!
Prices seem the same to me although I thought some shacks were 10%-15% dearer than restaurants.
Still CHEAP, can get a veg curry for 50RS RICE 20RS ROTI 10RS i a good restaurant here. Seafood may have gone up. Beer is around 50-60RS for KF.
Found a nice little watering hole with Honeybee at 20RS for 60ML same with OLD Monk COke extra. Been spending 700RS a day!!!!
Weather..... amazing.... HOT. Hired mountain bike for 80RS a day.

The exchange rate is POOR just now 72 to the pound!!!!
Spent 2 days in Agonda... very quiet, a lot of beach huts not up yet. Probably only 100 tourists there MAX!!! Only a few people out at night.
In Benaulim tourists were expected from UK over weekend but only a handful arrived. Everyone is waiting! I'm happy.

I will be in Benaulim in 31 days, stoppinbg at the lamour( at the back of Pedros) so if you have got any money over Neil, mines a kings

Carlsberg in Dominicks shack. It definately tastes better than any of the other lagers. King's is starting to taste funny now.
