Hi, if the price isnt much more for AI than B and B, then i would go for AI. As you said you will not be spending all day in the hotel, the main part of going to Goa is spending the day on the beach at your favourite beach shack. The snacks will definetly come in handy if you have children, and you might even want to spend the afternoon at the hotel around the pool one day, so the drinks and snacks will definetly come in handy.

I have been having a look on Lowcostbeds for hotels, just in case we cant find a decent package holiday for Jan, and the Beir Mar (sp?) hotel is slightly cheaper for B and B than it is for half board, but im sure this may be a little mistake.

Hi Yummymummy I don't think i made myself clear, there is not an option to choose BB or AI it says BB on the booking page as well as AI (dual description) but on reading reviews they all say they booked BB and were upgraded to AI ,so I was wondering if the hotel only does AI,( not sure if that explains things any better )

as for the Biera Mar I would be wary as it doesnt have very good reports, if you are going in feb i would leave it nearer the time as I am sure there will be some good deals later on

Thanks for the advice, we were going to book the beir mar for Jan 2008, but we ended up finding a package holiday for cheaper.
