I'm looking at Puglia for next August and need some help in choosing where to stay.

We'll be 2 couples travelling with a 4 year old so want a resort close to a beach for her but also me and the hubby like sightseeing so we want somewhere were we can get out and about from. We want SC rather than a hotel - has anyone got any suggestions?
