We are thinking of Malaga for a long weekend in mid May. We've never been before so any recommendations for hotels/restaurants etc would most welcome. We are 4 women and we like good food & wine, a little bit of culture and maybe, weather permitting, a bit of sunning on the beach. We're not reallly looking for evening entertainment in bars or clubs. Also what's the best way to get to Malaga from the airport. We don't intend to hire a car.
Thanks.
Gail.

From the airport, catch the No 19 bus which takes about 40 minutes and drops you off with a 3 minute walk to the hotel. Or you can get a taxi if you are concerned about finding it. You certainly won't be short of things to do for a long weekend there!
You can also take the train from the airport right into Malaga centre.
Thanks. The Don Curro hotel was one we were considering. Lastmimute.com are offering it at £54 per room per night which is really cheap.
