Last year we went to the Wildernest resort and absolutley loved it. We paid our Holiday rep and paid extra to get the Valley view. Another couple paid a local travel agent and got it miles cheaper. Also they got their valley view, and we paid about £25 extra and didnt get the room we wanted. After about 2 hours of wasted time we did eventually get moved to a Valley view, but it was on the outskirts of the resort about 5 minutes away from the restaurant. A bit of mis information from the travel agent, but we wasted 2 hours of the holiday.
P.s. if you do get a cheaper deal by booking it local and you are travelling with people who paid more, Please don't rub it in (repeatedly )or you may get a slap.

>>>>The wildernest is not only nice or beautiful, it's amazing. There are two types of cottages available, the valley view and forest view. I would recommend a valley view. It is slightly more expencive but worth every penny. You get a million dollar view when opening your eyes in the morning. you can look at the pictures at:

the wildernest starts with the pictures of mountains, it was only place we visited with mountains, so all the pics of them is from there.
The booking must be done early because there are only approx.12 cottages. We stayed there for two nights, arriving on wednesday at 3PM and leaving third day after lunch. On arrival the kichen was opened specially for us and lunch was served. All meals and activities included. Drinks at your expence.
Price we paid was 358 USD for two of us for two nights for valley view cottage.
I would definately recommend this trip to my best friend >>>>

Yes I booked directly via email. Great communication.
Wow excellent pictures Argo. What a breathtaking view
Candolim. http://www.goafootprints.com/
We stayed one night in one of the cabins with a view, think we paid around 80 pound including transfer and food. It was fantastic!
it was easy because of the breathtaking beauty around, no skills needed to capture a National Geographic cover style photo
And trips to wilderness were worth the efforts as well.
Not cheap but worth the money.

Wheter abouts is Goafootprints? I would rather go in person to get a quote
Goa Footprints is in candolim, think its near the Magnum Hotel. Daytrippers might do the trip as well, theyre on the road to baga from candolim on the right hand side, bright yellew boards outside, its run by an english chap and his wife. We've been on a few trips with them, their guides are great and very friendly
