Hi, these apartments are on the sea front where I would say Sa Coma meets S'Illot.

Hi Carol. Thanks for your reply. Thought that's where they were but hoping they might be a bit closer to the centre of Sa Coma :( . Gx

Hi, if you have a look on the Majorca-Mallorca web site there is a street map which shows where all the hotels and apartments are. I think they are in a lovely location, I tried to talk my family into booking these apartments for August this year but I was out voted and we're going to Palma Nova instead!

Hi Carol. We thought about booking Palma Nova but all things considered, transfers etc., I think we are getting a good deal in Sa Coma. We also like the fact that S'illot, Cala Millor and Cala Bona are within walking distance and, IMHO, are nicer resorts than PN and Magaluf. Gx

Sa Coma beside Silliot just over the bridge.
Beach in Silliot safe and shallow long way out.
Restaurants I would reccommend in Sa Coma the 'Azul' and the 'Moreya' beside each other.
Good bakery in Silliot and cheap supermarket in Silliot also.
Lovely local bar in the middle of Silliot! Good food!
I love the place that is Silliot!

Good thing about Sa Coma is its close to Cala Millor , Bona etc etc .. so you can find plenty to do ..

Carol, poor you being outvoted. We've done Palma Nova for the last 2 years. Everything was great apart from the yobs wandering about the hotel corridors (and I'm not just talking about kids - some of these yobs were grannies!) shouting and generally making prats of themselves at 3 in the morning.

Still wanted to go to Majorca, and with the pound plummeting against the euro, still wanted AI. Read some reviews on Sa Coma and the only complaints seemed to be that it mainly caters for Germans. Been to Playa de Palma and C'an Pastilla about 5 times recently and were sometimes the only English speaking guests at the hotel, but we never had a disturbed night's sleep.

And the Germans may be credited with inventing the practice of reserving sunbeds with towels, but when you sit and listen to Brits actually boasting to each other that they had to get up at 3.30AM to put towels on a sunbed before going back to bed, you have to say we have now turned the practice into an art form!

I'll let you know how we get on in Sa Coma Carol, and you can tell us if you get much sleep!

Hi there nuvotaz. When are you going to Sa Coma and where are you staying? Me and my friend have booked a few days there in June.

Hi Nuvotaz,
Don't you worry about me, I'll get plenty of sleep. This will be our 8th visist to Palma Nova so we know the area well, we have chosen apartments in a quiet area and have asked for an apartment on the top floor as it's usually the guests in the apartment above us that keep us awake! We went to Sa Coma 2 years ago and we loved it, my eldest daughter will be 18 this year so it might be our last family holiday so this is why we chose Palma Nova.

Hope you all have a great time.
