Hi Brian
Plenty of internet cafes but speed is usually very slow.Sometimes it can be good to leave behind stuff like laptops and just immerse yourself in Goa.
Good Luck

Hi Brian there are many internet places in Calangute with high speed connection where you can take your laptop. One I know is in the same place as Baskin Robbins ice cream shop. The name of the shop I cannot remember at the moment. It is opposite Kamat Holiday homes on the main road from Calangute to Candolim. Also in Calangute at the Food Court there is FREE wi-fi, it is a lot slower but good enough if you want to check your emails etc.
I haven,t a clue where im staying, im trying to find somewhere cheap as im an expat coming from turkey so dont work ...so looking at finding somewhere cheap n cheerful....as for laptop i wa just thinking of having the cahnce of internet/music/dvds retc but must admit cheap accomm is my highest priority

I can't help you in Candolim but if Baga will do try Adolph at Lazydays CSM road
Great location just off the beach near plenty of restaurants (Lazydays Cafe is good and not expensive) short walk to Mambo/Tito's if you want clubs

If you have a Bluetooth mobile you can get an internet sim card from Airtel for about a £5 but you will need photo copies of your passport and passport size photo
