am home from 5 days at the flamingo oasis ,i asked lots of questions from the hotel manager ,entertainment staff and the tour operators on the desks just hope i can remember all of it,well were do i start ,it was myself hubby two boys aged 13 and ten we were in room 1608 pool view ,and my son and partner had room 817 twin room ,mountain view ,rooms were brilliant,cleaners superb.the food was lovely and loads of it ,drinks were watered down ,but still ok ,san migel and strongbow out of pumps so not watered down ,you could have wine by the bottle ,and carver ,u could take ur drinks to ur rooms ,and have as many bottles of water as you could carry,the entertainment was superb ,mama mia ,michael jackson,etc all brilliant,this hotel is the best in benidorm, i was speaking to the thomascook rep and direct holidays and asked them about people who had booked with them to stay this summer ,and they were very sure that if you have booked this hotel with them you will be staying there this year,then i went to the thomsons rep and she said after this year the flamingo oasis is going to be exclusively to thomsons and portland holidays,the manager took 6 of us for a tour of the new club rooms they want floors 20 to 24 to be there adults only club rooms they have only done half of floor 24 still 3 and a half floors to do yet ,and the cost the manager told us when we were on the tour is 18 pounds per person per night extra,ive taken photos will get my son to put them on ,tea making facilitys,jaccuzzis 2 showers 2 sinks ,two large double beds pushed together,slippers robes,plasma tv on wall,2 posh chairs with a rug ,stand lamps,sunbeds on the balconys,same wardrobes but painted grey ,wall paper on one wall ,spot lights in ceiling,we went up to the roof top bar for a drink the weather was lovely 24 deg ,yes that was wed 21st jan, its a bomb site up there ,but there was about 30 of us up there ,the views are fab.work men up there renewing the whole of the flaggin ,the pool was open,but too cold to go in it ,u could sit by the pool or around the back of the building ,and the bar was open ,the bar staff said roof top bar open to all until may ,and then club room guests only ,the roof top over the bar ,and which was were the crazy golf was ,which has now been moved,is going to be were you can chill, adults only ,they are putting outdoor showers in at the moment ,and sunbeds ,no pool,i cant think of much more at the moment just got home ,but we had a fantastic stay here ,and cant wait to go again.most of benidorm shut ,very quiet ,and what was open was stuggling to stay open ,loads of bars have had to close down,or hand the keys back,hope this may help some people ,if you have any questions you want to ask i will try to help
