I am more than sure that this has been covered before but I am unsure of how to do a search relative enough to not take me to a Cyprus section.
The last time we came we stayed mostly at RamShacks when we were on Candolim beach and took an absolutely fantastic trip to the dudhsagar waterfalls by jeep and were well catered for, the guy driving even stopped off to get us bananas on the way to avoid extra cost nearer the site. We are more than happy to make another trip with them and will do so but wondered if anyone had any other great experiences they would like to share with us before we depart so we can go straight to them.
It is not a case of that money is no object but we found that last time we spent too much time looking for a good deal in ignorance and ended up having a few truly shocking trips - One being our taxi driver double up as captain pugwash (because the real "captain" didn't turn up). He took us to a place that he didn't know (middle of shipping lane and he's on mobile asking for directions) then took us snorkelling with 3 snorkels between 16 of us, then to a beach to eat a boiled egg and rice whilst all other revellers (doing same trip) were all eating fancy sea food. Fortunately (for them) I cannot remember the set-up but now wish to do it a slightly more controlled way.
Any feedback would be most appreciated

The snorkelling was probably to Grande Island and monkey beach. Daytripper to a well organised trip there. Google daytrippergoa and you will find many good trips.

Yes Paul it was however, the island wasn't grand as the nearest we got to it was a piece of coral that cut us all to threads and 13 people had to wait bobbing up and down in the boat until the 3 snorkels were finished with. And I'm not being funny but didn't see one damn monkey on monkey beach ha ha ha. If I go to Blackpool beach I would expect to see Black pools on the beach and I've been many times and have seen exactly that... The other people who were on the same trip but with a different "operator" (or taxi driver) were living it up all around us with there fancy dinners, beers and first aid kits but not us - boiled egg and rice - "you can either eat this boiled egg or put on your cuts". I can't remember the people who took us but we let them know our thoughts on our return. We then laughed about it.
