Hi everybody

Quick update - don't fly till early next week! Have decided on purchasing ring in Goa so reviewing the jewellers reviews!
Purchased a " cheaper/dummy" ring today for the proposal with the intentions of having one made which would be more personal. Who said size wasn't important and the shop assistant must have thought I was mad when I said its going on and then coming off again!!

Not sure of length of time taken to make a ring so proably need to do this early into the fortnight - no joy with the elephants so looking at other options - its hard when I have other intentions when booking trips and the one we have organsied early into the hol is probably not the best setting! (can't say too much!)
Dissapointingly I have not heard back from a contact in Goa so may speak to the hotel as soon as I get an oppurtunity when I am there to see if any suggestions can be made with regards to something romantic - sure they could arrange something!! Sounds daft but I want it to be special as we are in a special place and over a meal, regardless of how romantic etc, , doesn't seem right (not wanting to upset anybody if that happened to you by the way!!)

Thanks for the PM's but I am not a big poster on here in my real identity so a lot of you will be be disappointed, although all will be revealed at the carvery in early March!!

The answer was yes!!!.
Asked and accepted in Arabian sea, she didn't have a clue.
Last we heard on Wednesday was off to Kanataka then shopping for ring.
Don't know any more as back in UK.
