For your information Flamingo, Helen and I have been considering Egypt for a holiday and it was me who started off this thread. Although Marlou was holidaying there I didn't think she'd be able to help with my enquiry as she was AI. When she got back, she probably posted as she thought she had something worthwhile to add. I refered to her comments once or twice because I didn't see any reason not to.
The only reason I can see that you might have a problem, is if you don't believe we are who we say we are I can assure you that Helen and I, are long term members of this forum and have never had any cmplaints to date. Sorry mods for being but I was hoping to put Flamingo's doubts to rest.
Flamingo - to date I have written 1285 posts on HT over a period of nearly 3 years. Each one of those has been carefully read by a moderator, who has the ability to warn, or even remove posts. So far none have given offence to others, and I have helped many people, which is what we aim to do on this forum. If there is some chit chat between members it has nothing to do with being related, it is to do with the friendliness of the majority of people on here. As long as it remains within the topic guidelines there is no problem. Constructive criticism is always welcome, but derrogatory remarks are neither needed or helpful to other members. Back to the topic of Egypt, we merely needed to know whether AI or SC was our best option. As Marlou knows what type of holiday we like we valued her personal opinion.
We have many members on Holiday truths who are family, friends, husbands, wives, etc. As long as they are talking about holiday related topics thats fine by us.
Found a holiday today with Thomas Cook for 2 weeks in November at the Sonesta Beach Resort, for £700 all inclusive, its rare you can get A1 for that price in Sharm. Thomson s price is £756 each or was up to the other day. To eat as much as you want and drink as much as you want is really good for £50 a day. Don't think i could eat out at restaurants for £50 p/d with 3 meals, food and drink. Might think about booking
Noted Sarah! Derwentrocker - that's a great price & that hotel has some really good reviews. It was one I've been looking at myself but it was too expensive for the school holidays.
Sounds like a bargain Derwentrocker
I check prices every morning and every night, can't believe prices change so much, i do work in the mean time
