I just stumbled upon this, very nice to read a trip report from an Indian Tourists viewpoint. The ogling of women and drink driving bit made me chuckle!!!!

That's made me smile! Not sure about the hotel being 'decent though...it's where i stayed but do agree about Infantaria
read the first entry and it is really interesting.
What a lovely report! Especially enjoyed the part where they tried to chat up women with pots of masala tea!! Wonder why they failed!! ha ha
The whole thing is just sweet and quite innocent. Lovely.

What a great read. That guy could be an author. Ooh, I'm determined to get to Goa next year
Nice read, good to hear their view of their own country compared to how we see it
Loved it his style of writing is great could almost see it through his eyes especially the guys walking long the beach in their undies!!
Perfectly written ! any other links to other peoples views on Goa, please post them.

good idea.
I loved the masala tea episode. In fact there are so many brilliant observations. We do have some Indians who have used our forum - pity we don't have more. Have to say you could cringe at parts of it - us as locals see us- and they are right.
