Hi wozie

Have a look around my website. The photos are a few years old, and the Google map is Sept 2003, but it'll give you an idea.

Whereabouts are you staying? Unfortunately, the bus route only skims the outskirts.

But most of the local bars and restaurants are open as there's quite a few expat residents.

Hi, I doubt that any of the excursions will be open/running in March, so I think that you will be reduced to making your own plans. I've seen your apts from the outside, they look nice and are within walking/staggering distance of the bars in Kapparis. (The nearest club is in Protaras)
You are in the right location for the time of year as Kapparis caters for the resident British community and therefore most of the bars etc are open, unlike Protaras and Pernera.
There are several small beaches close by, however the sea might be a tad cold! lol
are you getting a hire car or transport whilst there? would be a good idea for getting around and you could walk / taxi it at night!

Cheers!

hi me again help nemo !!!weather not good at mo we have heard, arrive sat night .is it easy to travel to turkey from kapparis weather very bad as good forcast 4 turkey . :yikes can you recamend any were to eat in kapparis

Not easy to get to Turkey from Kapparis. You would only be able (I think) to go from the north, and when you come back you will be deemed to have entered Cyprus through an illegal port!

As for restaurants, I think the best one in Kap is Faliros. Not dead cheap, but very nice food and surroundings. They have entertainment on on a Thursday which won't be too packed out at this time of year (you have too book in Summer to be sure of getting a table).

Another good one is Karas village tavern. Cyprus mixed grill there is recommended ;)
George at the Twilight across the road from Faliros does nice food (prob won't be open in March though, thinking about it), as does the new Italian restaurant very nearby.

Don't worry too much about the weather though - high teens is certainly warmer than here :)
