Hi Gemma yes the humidity has been pretty unbearable, more like June!! the papers said it was because of low cloud and a southwesterly winds...?? but yesterday (sat) there was a gorgeous breeze which was lovely..however today is very hot and no breeze! still lovely of course! :) Smudger2 was dripping in the carvery as was my o/h... :D as we both were here in my house before we got there that night as 2 phases of our electricity went down for 2 hours and our invertor couldnt cope for some obscure reason?...that was dreadful!!

oh no!! and we are off to coco huts tomorrow in Palolem for a few day!! :duh been there!! done that!! when our hut at ashven took off and collapsed in a rare cyclone some years ago in April time...and we were the only ones there, on the beach, as it was the end of season .. and the owner and staff all terrified, ran away and abandoned us to flying mangos, lashing rain and fork lightening......(it was the middle f the night... no shelter no power!!) and .i hope this is not a repeat!! especially with a small baby :yikes

I have to agree the Humidity levels at the moment are terrible. We had a shower on Saturday night that bought the temperature down for a while. But that didn't last long.

Hi there

My friend and I are thinking of going to Goa for the last 2 week in August. Just wondered what can we expect the weather to be like? Should we expect rain all day, or just the odd time?

Thanks
Reply
It's not the best time to come here in August, as it can be the wettest month of the Monsoon.Saying that the last 5 days here have been quiet good with just the odd shower,so you may be lucky, but there is no guarantee.
