just thought id drop a review on lanzarote bay.stayed there for 2wks in august was a bit dubious about it as it had undergone a refurb & we were scared it wasnt finished.well we couldnt have been more pleased with the place it was fantastic football pitch & tennis courts...kids play area & clubhouse... good food in restaurant & pool bar...drink good & plentiful...friendly helpful staff...reps & entertainers for adults & kids daytime & nighttime activities.super (especially sandra & laura)....clean spacious modern rooms....maid service everyday barr 1...super value for money.we had went in 2007 & it was in need of a facelift well it certainly got that for 2008...we were so happy with the place we have booked to return in 2009...21 in our party..10 adults 11 kids...you definately wont be disappointed if you give here a try

Hi I have a family holiday booked to Lanzarote Bay on the 8th March 09 and have seen some good reviews.....but now I am fretting about the weather!
its averaging about 19/20 degrees c at the moment.......
does anyone know wether that will be hot enough for my kids to go in the pool? I am getting worried? I have been told that the winds on the Island are warm winds.I dont mind a quick rainstorm to cool things down,but I want a tan!
anyone been to the Canaries at this time of year?
