We went to Lanzarote Bay last June, had brill time, our kids were 8 and 10 and the reps entertained them all day, we would defo go back sometime, the entertainment on the night wasnt the best we've had but was something to look at. The food was lovely as well. I'm sure you'll have a great time, the only negative we found was queueing for sunbeds every morning, but this hotels certainly not alone in that.

We were there last year and my hubby wore 3/4 trousers most nights, on a lunch time he always wore the shorter sports shorts as did most people. If you come out of the hotel and turn left, follow the road down to the end and over the road there is a bank, I used the cash machine outside there, only a 5 minute walk. Sure you'll have a great time, we certainly did.

Hi we also went a couple of years ago and it was ok nothing bad but not exceptional but then we paid a good price so I guess you get what you pay for.

We were there two years ago - it was very nice although there wasn't much going on in the hotel for teenagers (even though it was August and there was supposed to be the Airtours Teens Club there) Great hotel if you have younger children though
I can't remember there being any launderette there at all. I don't think anyone was too bothered about long trousers in the restaurant, as long as you don't go in wearing wet swimwear during the day  I think most people like to 'dress up' a bit in the evenings anyway.
The nearest ATM is at a small bank on the main road at the back of the hotel (opposite the hotel's tennis courts). The easiest way to get to this is to come out of the hotel's main entrance, turn left, then left again and down the little side road until you come to some shops and bars and you'll see the bank across the road. This is also where the bus stops are if you want to nip into Arrecife or Puerto del Carmen for some shopping.
The hotel has its own courtesy bus (from the main entrance) down to the Cucharas beach in Costa Teguise, this bus drops you off near a nice shopping centre and there are also some banks and ATMs there and a chemist (outside the Lanzarote Gardens Hotel) if you need any medcines etc.

going to the lanzarote bay on 30th july-13th august.there will be 18 in our group 10 adults 8 kids really looking forward to it,never been to lanzarote before.kids ages ranging from 2 til 13 will there be plenty for them all to do is the entertainment for all age groups.do the reps do games for adullts & kids during the day?is there anyone else going during this time to l.b.? :D :)

Hi, we went last june, the reps were out morning and afternoon every day doing things with the kids, they really put themselves out, also some hilarious games for the adults as well as stuff like football. There was also an airtours kids club, which you had to sign the kids in and out of, unlike the hotel kids club which was more casual, the kids came and went freely. Also make sure you're up early to queue for sunbeds ( the only downside we found) but this happens in loads of hotels.
I'm sure you'll all have a brill time.

We just returned from the Lanzarote Bay hotel yesterday and it was the best holiday we have ever had,
We had a one bedroomed apartment in block A third floor , no lifts but it was ok, it was easy to find,
The room was freshly painted comfy beds and both sofa beds in the living room already made up for the kids and there was enough room to keep them up for the full 2 weeks,
Bathroom was fine and very clean, the kitchen if you wanted a cuppa at night to bad unless you hired a kettle and bought some cups,, ( odd eh ). :?
The food was really good but the puddings were a bit of a hit or miss but plenty of fresh fruit,
The resturant was spotlessly clean and the staff very welcoming.
The pool is freezing we are sure a few ice cubes passed us one day but in saying that it didn't stop us from using the pool , once you were in it was fine. Sunbeds there are lots to be had and they were not chained up but a few holiday makers did leave their towels out at 1am, to find them floating in the pool in the morning, :D
The entertainment staff were brilliant and i think thats what helped make our holiday, from 10.30am there are activites for all, kids clubs, (NOT AIRTOURS OR MY TRAVELS I MAY ADD, THEY HAD NOT ONE KIDS ENTERTAINMENT REP THERE ). The hotel entertainers Adam, Mahon.Sandra Johanne worked very hard both with the kids and adults,, after all lets face it on holiday if your kids are happy so are you ,,right,??.
The bar staff were brill to, you must get RAUL to make you a big gigi cocktail, lol
creepy crawlies ( cockroaches) we had only one in our room. If you have trouble go to reception they will give you a can ,( spray and die lol )

There was only one fault with our holiday and it was the amount of holiday makers who just left their plastic cups laying around, it's windy and most of them landed in the pool.

To sum up, we had a fab time, and we would go back again tomorrow. so if you are going to the lanzarote Bay , enjoy,
:fly :bow

Good to hear Raul is still there :D We were there two years ago and he was lethal with his ice-cube throwing... not to mention him sneaking a dash of Tia Maria into my morning coffee most days
All the staff were lovely when we were there - good to hear it's stayed that way.

We are flying out on the 14th August for 2 weeks with some friends - x2 families of 4 - really cannot wait!!!

I have seen several reviews from guests who have been this year and no bad words to say - apart from one the first week who said it was too quiet!!!

The food is supposed to be top notch and the rooms sound very good - a clue might be to look at the prices next year - they are £1000 higher than this year!!!

I think we have got very lucky booking this year for the price.

Hope you have a great time - may see you all there!!!
