Just booked a city break with them to Toronto, I thought they used Air Transat as their carrier but the paperwork we received seems to indicate otherwise. The details are as follow
Dept Glasgow on 5th May on TCX46k at 12:40 pm Arr Toronto 15:30
Ret. Toronto on 8th May on TCX59l at 22:10 Arr Glasgow !0:05
Could Dazbo tell me what company and type of aircraft will be used and any information re booking extra legroom seats would be appreciated, I'm assuming it's a Thomas Cook plane but I'm not sure. Thanks. Alan
Refer to our dedicated Thomas Cook Airlines thread. Canadian Affair use both Air Transat and TCX. It's on a sort of code-share agreement but not quite a code-share in the schedule airline sense (that probably makes no sense to you!!). Anyway, it's operated by a Boeing 757-200 (ETOPS). They only have 187 seats onboard so seat pitch is a roomy 34". IFE is provided via CRT screens over the isles. You'll find a seating plan on TCX's website.

Hiya, believe me you won't need the extra legroom, the seat pitch is huge. Lovely flights, but if you are used to Canadian Airlines then please note all drinks are chargeable, but as of this summer each passenger will receive a bottle of water free of charge.
Thanks for that info, sounds good. My wifes taking a friend as a 60th birthday present, they were looking at Paris or Prague, but the prices they were getting offered were much the same as the Toronto deal, AND the paris flights were with Easyjet and you dont get 34" leg room there. Alan
