I suppose the forum has been a little sleepy over the winter. It should start to get busier now the holiday season is getting closer.
We're going back to Santo Tomas for 9 days in June. It's a great little place, especially with children.

hello all! off to cala'n forcat with hubby, inlaws and the little one in september. never been to menorca before so i'm hoping its good!

We were due to go on 28th April until Monarch cancelled the flight and moved it to Monday 27th. Now we have to go a bit sooner. Bother, an extra day in Menorca. It's a hard life but someone has to do it.
Seriously though it suggests that they were having trouble to fill all the flights and that we will be on an amalgamated one?

Kaz3762, sorry you didn't like Menorca, but I do hope your opinion wasn't based purely on the resort you stayed in and that you visited other parts of the island whilst there? I guess it wouldn't do for us all to like the same things

S'algar 23-30th June for about 24th visit,love the peace and quiet.
As previous post you must travel away from your resort the see the wonderful places.

Booked flights out there leaving the 9th aug-6th sept but got no where to stay yet does anyone no of some where cheap in menorca very grateful for any ideas.

calen bosch last year it was fantastic would like to go there again !!!
Hi Walks...WOW I do envy you being able to have such a long stay. Have you looked at Owners Direct website, there's some lovely privately owned accomodation on there. Not sure if you'll find anything particularly cheap though because of it being peak season. Do you mind which resort you go to?
Yes yes really lucky but the flights where so Cheap so would be silly not to have booked them, We have to have the school holidays so thats why we can have so long to be honest, I dont think we mind where we are because we can always hire a car, But as i say we did love Calen bosch. I will have a look on owners direct but i know last yr found it quite expensive when we compared with s/c in a hotel on the beach, I am hoping to pick up a little jem really as arnt we all.

We are going for a week from 6th June - Cant wait! Going to Cala en bosch. Anyone know if Big Apple is still there - we love it the manager is fantasic!!

Back to Sur Menorca in Punta Prima for us - our son is 4 now and he chose the return on the flight home last year.
For 2 weeks AI in June for less than £1300, I think we've managed a bargain too!
