Hi everyone. Just wondered whether anyone has had to report an incident to the Hotel's security when on holidays. We had a lovely start to our jollies in Benidorm, for the 1st 4 days there were mostly families staying at the apartments. On Wednesday however 2 mixed sex groups of Spanish teenagers ( around 16/17 years old) - 12 in total moved into the rooms on either side of us and all hell literally broke loose. We came in at around 1 am to find music blaring and they were running, screaming & shouting & banging doors for around 45 minutes. They went out then, only to return at 3.45, and take up where they left off. In the morning I told the receptionist, who told me to call security if it happened again. The following night the same thing happened again, & they were dragging furniture out of the apartment onto the balcony. As soon as the security man left they were at it again. Last night I had to call security at 4.45am as we could here things smashing in one of the apartments. My sister was a floor below me, and even she was awake all night. Hubby's analogy was " It's like a lunatic asylum here". In all I spoke to reception twice in person & twice by phone. I know that my sister spoke to them as well. We felt that although the security chap came nothing was actually done, and the disturbance continued. By this morning we were so tired we could have cried - it was that bad. They must have had loads of complaints as there were a few families with small babies & children there. In all the years I have been going away, not once have I ever had to contact reception about a security problem.
