hi we went to dalyan last august and loved it.lots to do and see.we went to the beach via taxi boat took 40 min each way cost 7 lira return and this included 2 lira admission on to beach.also did gulet trip.lots of great restaurants by the river where you can watch the turtles.the weather was fantastic every day. sue

We stayed there a few years ago, so obviously cannot comment on best restaurants etc now. However a waiter where we were staying offered us an early morning trip to feed the turtles. It was a really good experience, and the kids loved it! If you get a chance I'd definitely recommend it.

We also hired a boat for the day, we were a party of 8 - we headed off to the lake and had a brilliant day, hardly saw another person all day, and it only cost £25, included a cool box full of beer and soft drinks. We also went to the second mud baths where Turkish people go. The first mud baths you come to are the touristy ones where all the excursions go, but further on there are some more which are better and more authentic.

Things may have changed a bit now, but it may be worth enquiring about if you're interested.
