Hi everyone We are going to the Club Aida on 2 July, never been to Turkey before so don't really know what to expect. Had a good look at the review sites and it looks fab. I have two teenage girls 17,15 and one boy 14 so can anyone tell me if the day time is ok for them, they love the water games etc that we've had in other hotels. Also anyone done flexidine? Any tips or hints for me please as I don't really know what to expect. Also we haven't done self catering for years are there lots of places to eat nearby? are the prices ok?
you will all have a ball. we went to turkey last year for the first time and stayed at club aida. My kids still rave about it and enjoyed it more than florida!! we are heading back again this year - 6th july - but staying in icmeler this time. The jeep safari was the highlight of our holiday. Loads of great places to eat and the food much better than Spain. definitely Take sterling as you can spend it so easily - we were a bit nervous about that but it wasfine. My son gots loads of football shirts and daughter loads of clothes - get your bartering head on.
When we were there last year they did water polo every day plus another water game (how many people you can fit on a surf board and diving for things etc) there was also darts or killer pool most days. There is a small arcade, pool tables and internet. My 10 year old joined in a lot but the 13 year old only did a few games. As for eating we have never had a bad meal in Turkey yet, we love walking down to the beach front and eating there but there are other places closer. The water park in nearer and my two love going on the trips. You are also in walking distance to the supermarket so you can stock up on supplies.
Here are our Safe Box and Air Co prices for this season;
Safe Box for 7 Days ; 15 GBP ( English Pounds )
AirCo for 7 Days ; 30 GBP ( English Pounds )
5 weeks to go
If anyone as any questions let me know and I can let you all know when I return..
Could anyone tell me if the air con in Club Aida is only in the bedrooms? Also a daft question, are there showers in the bathroom or just a bath?!
Thanks
the aircon is only in the bedroom - we had a bath with the shower above it -
Hi everyone. Could anyone tell me how long the transfer is from the airport to Club Aida please? One of my daughters gets terrible travel sickness so just want to be prepared! Also as we are landing in Dalaman at 8.30pm will we be able to get food etc when we arrive at Club Aida. We are going on 2 July and getting really excited. thanks
We went last year and the transfer was approx 1hr 15 - sometimes they do a comfort stop half way but not always, they didn't that time. Club Aida was second stop in Marmaris. We didn't arrive until after midnight and were able to get something to eat so if you are arriving earlier you will definitely be able to get something to eat. It's a great place and you'll have a great holiday there! We couldn't get booked for Aida this year but going back to Marmaris on 6 July staying in different apartments. Can't wait either!
Just been watching them do water aerobics on the club Julian web cam and the weather looks great.
Will do a review when I get back as there ar not many around this year.
I have seen a few recent reviews on Aida and they all have said very positive things...looks like you will have a great time.
We go to Aida on the 22nd June and we are all very excited.
An update on prices would be greatly appreciated, turkish baths, drinks, food, recommended excursions etc...

Just wondered what the prices are in the surrounding area for drinks meals out etc as well as in club aida?
thanks
Glad to hear you had a good holiday. Thanks for the prices, its really handy. Did you have food at Club Aida, and if you did was it ok. Was there a lot of difference in the food/drink prices outside the hotel. Thanks Bev
there is a really nice restaraunt just down from aida as though walking to the court building, it has steps up to it, cant remember the name really nice food and reasonably priced..
We ate in hotel for some breakfasts and lunches and the food was fine. We only ate once on a night and I think you get better quality outside (mind we never left anything). We like to eat on the sea front for which you pay a premium, our most expensive (and worst meal) was Natalies steak house. If you come out of the Aida and turn right at the end of the road is a restaurant called Piccadilly which gave us our first drink free and the food was lovery and great value for money.
