I would suggest you email Club Candan directly and you'll get accurate information about something which is really important for your children - maybe advise them what your requirements are re sockets in the bedroom and then hopefully you will be allocated a suitable room and put your mind at rest.
Thanks for that . Does anyone know the club candan email address ? I have searched online but cant seem to find it .
Think its info@candanhotels.com
search through yahoo for candanhotels. For some reason it doesn't come up through google. Their website is the 3rd result down where you can e mail direct. we are returning to the club candan for the 3rd time next week. The plug sockets are the 2 pin european type. The 2 bedroom apartments are situated at the ends of the block
Does anyone know the cost of air conditioning at the Club Candan in Marmaris . we are going the 24th august .
We had a 2 bedroom apartment and it was massive!! we were on the ground floor and had 2 bathrooms! I dont even have that at home!! so this was a proper holiday
Ill upload them pictures, although I dont know how to!!!
Free im sure it was although dont qoute me on that, Check the thomson website it should, if they charge, have a * saying payable locally
oh that would be great if you could upload the pictures . we are staying in a 2 bedroom apartment too . I have asked though for a apartment not on the ground floor but hopefully with pool view . I have never been to Turkey before .

As sad as it may be this will be my 8th visit to Candan in 3years!!
Hi All, we are also going to the Club Candan on the 18th June 09, first time to Turkey and we can't wait, if anyone has pics...etc. it would be great to see them, so we could see what the place looks like in a bit more detail than just the standard ones in the holiday brochures...Thanks.x.x.x.
Can anyone tell me exactly where in Marmaris the Club Candan is located (or where it's near to)? We stayed in the Armutulan area last time and quite liked being away from the hub of things, but being within easy walking distance.
Thanks in advance
Lynda
Club canadan is a street away from Marmaris weekly thursday indoor market and a 10 minute walk to the beach.
Club Candan is set back from bars and restaurants but only a short walk away. it is not far from the armutulan area, close to the cemetry and amphitheatre about 5 - 10 mins walk away if you saw that while in armutulan. But as rwb46 says if you know the thursday market, it is right by it.
Thanks for your replies, I know the area you mean
I was wondering if anyone could help with the answer to a couple of questions I have ? .how far is the hotel from the centre of marmaris ? how far is it to icmeler ? whats the the best way to get to icmeler can you walk there or do you need to go on a bus / taxi ? Decent restaurants near the hotel Im taking 2 fussy teenagers !!!!!
thanks cheryl
You'd definately need transport to get to Icmeler, unless you are serious walking enthusiasts! It has to be at least a 40 minute walk from Candam to Icmeler, maybe even more. From Candan to the Icmeler end of Marmaris is a good 20 minute walk. You'd be best jumping on the Dolmus bus. I think it was a flat fare of around 70p last year & would take 10 minutes max from a stop near Candan to Icmeler.
Although Candam is set back from the main road, it's not badly placed for reaching all parts of Marmaris, so it's 15 minute leisurely stroll to either the harbour restaurants or the same to the beach front ones. You will pass most other restaurants on your way to either the Harbour or the beach front, so take your pick!
We enjoy Natalies, Sherwood, Andys, Picadilly & Charlies Bar. TBH I've never had a bad meal in 4 visits to Turkey but everyone has their own favourites.
