Have a look at Hilthwaite House Windermere it usually has deals on.
It has an excellent restaurant, fine dining. It has four poster beds..price up room 15 or 16. They have jacuzzi baths and views of the fells and lake.
You will be spoilt rotten!! Oh and it has a roaring log fire in the bar area.

Ignore that last recommendation, just returned from Hillthwaite House and the food was awful.
