I'm spending two weeks in Marmaris following by 2 weeks in Bodrum in September-October.
Me and my other half want to visit some places like Pamukkale, Ephesus, Dalyan+mud baths.
Now, by the look on various websites the prices seems to be quite expensive.
Is it better to find something online and book ahead or visit travel agents while we are in Turkey and try to book something there?
Are any of those trips do-able using public transport (buses)?
Does it come much cheaper so it's worth the hassle?
Has anyone know a reasonable prices agency who could quote me on those trips online?
many thanks for all advice
In Bodrum last week, they were quoting about £25 per person for a day trip to Ephesus and the same for a day trip to Pamukkale, with a two day trip to both of them for about £55. That was last week. I can't remember what Dalyan was but it wasn't expensive. There's loads of places in both Bodrum and Marmaris where you can book trips - cheaper than with travel reps - and it's always worth haggling if you're booking a few. In Bodrum, if you book a trip you often get a free Turkish bath thrown in.
