I am staying at Leila Playa in Calahonda in June was hoping that somebody would be able to tell me how far Marbella was. Mainly the area of Puerto Banus.
Is it easy to get taxi's back from Puerto Banus in the late evening? Would they be expensive?

Puerta Banus is about 25K-28K using the AP7 20mins.Via the A7 is possibly nearer 23K but more built up.

I did a similar trip in April. I paid 35 euros. The taxi took the cost road (A7) and there was very little traffic.
