some advice please would it be better to book a package deal (travel agent )or book the hotel and flight separate ...and is this safe...sorry for all the questions
i myself prefer to book package as i feel safer and it's all included the transfers and all else but a lot of people book diy and have had no problems . the way things have been letely there are a lot of people still trying to get there money refunded after they companies went bust , lately i have been looking at thomas cook as they seem to be doing some not to bad deals i.m looking at feb next year though for costa teguise. it is just a case of looking at package then diy and see what's the best price to suit your budget.
check the papers to sometimes you get a deal in there i got one 2year ago to lanzarote it was only about 300 for the 2 of us it was with barrhead travel .
have you thought of booking private accomodation, lots of two, three or even four bed apartments and villas for rent in costa teguise, try looking on espanabreaks.com or owners abroad and then you can book your flights seperately with either tompsonfly, thomas cook ,monarch or jet2 try skyscanner.co.uk lots of deals on there.and all safe sights have used them for many years!
The Las Coronas appartments in Costa Teguise have 2 bedroom appartments, the one we had was lovely it was on the first floor, it had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms a large kitchen and lounge plus a hugh roof terrace. The apartments are in a good position with bars and shops nearby.Well worth a try Have a look at their website
......We have now booked DIY for the first time and hope all go's well....if it works out DIY all the time from now on.. Thomas Cook wanted 2200 with out pre-booking plane seats for the same hotel .. ....We got hotel los zocos sep 6th to 20th ...hotel was 597.45... and flights(with Thomson) were 1060.40...with prebooked seats and Luggage...And to make things look better just cheaked the flights price again(as one does lol) and now 1420....yipeeee Costa Teguise, here we come...
Gavin
We stayed at Los Zocos in November last year, we have been looking for a holiday for next year and was going to try somewhere new, but we loved Los Zocos so much we are going back there again! We went all inclusive and will be doing the same again, but as you are going self catering I can fully recommend the steak at Cactus Jacks which is just behind the hotel, possilby the best I have ever had and the staff are fab! Just go out of the complex, turn right, turn right again on the corner by the bank and it is up on the right hand side. Hope you all have a lovely time. x
we have always booked our holidays d i y nothing has ever gone wrong and i always book january or february to get the best prices then its just a matter of saving hard then x
Los Zocos is great as long as you don't go there expecting the Ritz
Reason I say don't expect the Ritz is that some people pay not a lot for a holiday and expect the world!! Enjoy xx
