Hi.
Does anyone know the current prices for booze (and fags too I suppose) on Thomas Cook planes to Turkey and at the "Entry" Duty Free shop at Dalaman please?
Flying shortly so want to know whether to buy at UK airport, on the plane or on landing.
I seem to recall last year that Dalaman was actually more expensive for Duty Frees on landing?
Mind you, these days there doesn't seem to be much difference with UK supermarket prices, particularly if they have a special offer on.
Good examples would be 1 Litre of gin, 200 Lambret & Butler (King size silver packet).
Cheers.
Hi, I returned from Turkey via Dalaman on 24th May, the price of 200 L &M's was !3.50 Euro, 1 ltr of Smirnoff Vodka 12 Euro, didn't note the price of anything else, hope this helps give you a guide.
Just trying to get a handle on whether to buy at UK airport, on the plane or when landing, so examples are useful.
In the past I'm sure the duty free shop at Dalamana was cheaper than the other options, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. I suppose 12 Euro is pretty much £12 at the moment?
Cheers.
