It is a long time since we did a Thomson, try a few of the reviews they may have some more upto date info.

There were house brands of all the main spirits and a topshelf was 70p extra.
IIRC there are a draft bitter and larger, house wine by the glass basic cocktails and a variety of other drinks as well as the gin.vodka, whiskey, brandy options.

Also there was a coffee of the day but again you could make your own with a shot of the included stuff.

What we did was check the ingredience of the "premium" cocktail you could sometime make them from the included options anyway.

EDIT: duh should have checked the following posts.

New last minute deal in from GIlls 3rd June,

NCL Jewel 12n Baltics £399 inside £499 OV

NCL are showing a handicap G(OOV) which are very good spacious cabins.

Also showing 5 suites so worth asking for a price on those.

Check for the parking and gratuities these are normaly included in NCL direct pricing, and the port parking at dover is expensive, there is a cheaper alternative if not included.

Fantastic deal made available last night on the Norwegian Jade for £399 inside for 12 nights in North Cape leaving tomorrow (sat 13th) from Southampton. Cruise Thomas Cook on 08082045895 are showing this at page 6 of 50 on teletext holidays page 227 (digital TV version).

Believe Gill's cruises also have this.

If we were not leaving tomorrow for a week in Lake Garda, would be booking this one!

NCL have done it again offloading through TA's without offering the same rates on-line.

Looks like there are only a few left and there was a balcony when I just checked.
It the TA says this is full keep checking the NCL booking system takes cabins out of inventory for 15mins when someone just looks to see what there is and this can mean no cabins for a while.

Spurred on by the AUS/NZ cruises that have been booked by others I am now looking at the longer options to see what comes up.

Found this one, 22 Sept.

Diamond Princess
Vancouver to Beijing 22nights (Alaska,Russia,Japan,Korea)

$1200+tax if you can find a US agent to take a UK booking(UK want £1400+)

http://www.princess.com/pb/itineraryDet ... Code=M928A
http://www.vacationstogo.com/fastdeal.cfm?deal=31647

Flights with KLM via Amsterdam around £450.
SO I think this can be done for around £1500pp with a few extra nights in vancouver and/or china

I have made a post about fantastic air fares to NZ/OZ and Far East just in case anyone is thinking of a cruise down under.
Sydney from £399 from 1st September 1st December and again Mid Jan until 31st March. With Singapore Airlines a fantastic Airline.
Also to the Far East for £350 and also very good business class rates.
These were in an email sent to me today by SIA but Trailfinders also had this offer last weekend. Must be booked by end of June.

Off topic but I am watching a program on CNBC now that is called 'Big money on the High Seas' - it focuses on NCL Pearl and I am impressed with the ship, she looks beautiful. I think I'll have to try that one Windjammer. :)
If it comes on TV in the UK don't miss it, it is made by Peter Greenberg, a well known travel journalist here and he's doing a great job..

Here is a link to the video- hope it works.

Celebrity Century ex BCN 7nights

Various dates with flight(GTW) cheapest is 7th Nov £399

This one from http://www.thecruisevillage.com/

Others will have this at similar prices

Might be a DIY option if the cruise only is cheap through Celebrity direct.

Not a particular bargain but I have just booked the X Solstice for the 9th October. 10 night out of Rome and doing the Eastern Med.
I got an offer of an over 55 deal which saved me around £400. Single occupancy. The Solstice is well booked and some dates already filled. I suppose everyone like me wants to try the latest ship!
Booked my own flights hotel as I am going out a day early as usual. The Port is some distance away and the flight is not in until 12.30pm. Got a good deal with the hotel as they are doing special price for Cruisers. I booked directly with the hotel after checking all the usual Agencies.
All that remains now is to book a taxi as I am not willing or able to travel by Train.
Cunard have really no offers right now. Reckon some Companies have gone for the early booking discounts or so it would seem. Something for me to remember for the future.

Did you pay the dreaded single supplement?

Unfortunately yes !! Nowadays I am so used to it and accept it as a necessary evil. Not that I like paying it BUT what can I do?

NCL Gem is chartered this week by Oprah for all her staff, at an average cost of $5,000 plus per person.
She must be a really nice boss... :)
