My work colleague had her six month old baby's photo rejected because you could see the tip of my colleagues little finger at neck level (she had to steady the baby's head because the baby, of course, was trying to look everywhere other than the camera).
My daughter's passport picture does include a finger! She was only 14 months when we took her picture for her first passport and we had to hold her in place as well. I sent the forms off and they sent it back with no problems. It does look as though it is part of her body so maybe that is why it was accepted. When I realised you could see the picture, I did get quite worried though.
Her passport is due to expire next year and she has changed a great deal but she still has the same eyes (obviously ) What I mean is, they havent changed from when she was a baby, ok, ill shut up - just digging a bigger hole here - but you know what I mean .
