Well all I can say is it won't quiet when I get there. Mind you I will only be in Cabanas for a bit the rest of the time I will be in Tavira.

Well I can see now why it is quiet in Cabanas, we got the bus from Tavira for what we hoped was for a nice few hours and some lunch, well the is nothing there a few shops one or two restaurants. I would not like to spend a week there it would drive me mad, we had a coffee and got the next bus back, but then again it would be a funny old world if we all liked the same thing.

To be honest even though we have a place there (we are actually right up by Benamor where it is even quieter) I am very often amazed that people would choose Cabanas for a holiday, especially if they have children.

As you quite correctly say it would not be every body's cup of tea, I actually like it because there is so little going on. If it ever becomes a "Blackpool" no offence intended to residents of Blackpool, that will be the day we up and look for somewhere quieter.

We can eat in a different restaurant every night when we are there for two weeks....so that's more than one or two.
I take it you missed going over to the beautiful beach, where you can walk for miles.

I take your point, there is not a lot going on there, but as Taff says, that's the way we like it......and us too, Taff!!!!

Peace and quiet and a real chill out. I suppose we are biased as well because we know so many of the local people there and we are always given a wonderful welcome from them each time we return.

As has been said before, we are all different and each to his own....
