Hi all,
We booked a last minute holiday to ibiza on saturday for the 1st of july, the thomson agent said that the booking didnt showed up as tickets on departure, therefore they would be delivered to the shop. Anyhow the agent called me today to say that it would now be tickets on departure and we needed to collect a voucher from them in order for us to collect our tickets at manchester. There has been no mention of a charge for this (which i believe is £15 per person) do think we will get charged either when we collect the voucher or the tickets?.
if there's been no mentioned i'd venture a guess that the TOD price was included in the holiday, as is the case with most late bookings. However i'd check with thomsons if i were you.
The desk at the airport that issues them wont charge either.
I have done this a couple of times with Thomson, just take your voucher to the desk in the airport and collect your tickets, you won't get charged for it
Thanks for all your replies
She then said it said 20kg on the ticket, We said we had proof on the booking form but she got a bit snotty and said she would ring the Thomson desk, she couldn't get through, then the guy on the next check in told her to look at our proof we showed it to her and she said "OK I will allow it this once"
